During this 5-week course, students will meet twice a week to learn and practice Russian grammar, vocabulary, conversation, reading and writing skills. I first started teaching when I was still a student in the Russian University. I majored in Linguistics and English Philology. I moved to the United States over 18 years ago. Over the years, I have taught in different public school and charter school settings and given private and group lessons in Russian and ESL. I have also been homeschooling my own children for over 12 years now. I love to learn about different cultures and I believe that learning a foreign language can help us better understand a foreign culture and people.
