In this beginner violin class, students will learn the following:
Day 1 - How to hold the violin & bow
- Rest position & playing position
-Making a good sound right from the start!
- Names of strings: E A D G
Day 2 - Rhythms on the different strings
- Review of how to hold violin & bow
Day 3 - Finger placement - Please purchase violin finger tapes through amazon or similar (link provided in supply list)
- Review of rhythms
- Beginning songs & music notation
Day 4 - Songs & music notation will be continued
Day 5 - Hot Cross Buns
Exact songs to be covered will depend on the individual group. The above calendar is meant as a guideline; the pace of this class will be adjusted as necessary.
Learners MUST have an appropriate-sized violin, bow & shoulder rest to take this class. Please message me for guidance on obtaining an instrument or with any other questions you have.其他詳情
