My tutoring style for this age range is ideal for students with minimal to some Spanish experience to build a foundation of Spanish knowledge in a fun and patient way. I encourage learners to participate regularly nonverbally and verbally at their own pace, but aim for ample verbal output throughout each tutoring session. I also am mindful about prioritizing age-appropriate phrases, activities, and songs to help learners feel capable and confident in learning a new language. Finally, I regularly encourage correct pronunciation while still providing ample positive reinforcement.

I will use a Google Slides presentation and adapt it to your student's age and interests (for example, singing, props, and movement for younger students vs. reading and additional conversation practice for older students) to help your learner engage and understand the content in different ways. 

- Technology/Materials: Depending on the lesson, students will either have printable handouts and/or digital Google Jamboard worksheets (no login required) to use during class. I will also send Quizlet flashcards regularly for students to be able to continue practicing Spanish at home.

Please note: This class is not a full immersion tutoring class and there will be some English used.
