¡Hola and Hello! Welcome to our 8-Week Spanish Program that's not just a class but an adventure! This foundational course is your child's passport to unlocking the wonders of the Spanish language, and it's crafted with the perfect blend of excitement and learning at their own pace.

*Please note there are no live meetings. It is self-paced with pre-recorded videos, but includes access to communication with their teacher* The teacher will provide support for the entire 8 weeks from when you start. This will include message communication Sunday through Friday as well as the ability to request additional materials or help. 

What to Expect:

🧒 Tailored for elementary and early middle school students with little to no Spanish knowledge.

Syllabus

8 Lessons
over 8 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Introductions, Greetings
 Together we will:
- review class expectations
- greet each other in Spanish
- learn to ask how are you and respond with 3 emotions
- learn other ways to greet beyond hola 
Lesson 2:
The alphabet and letter sounds
 Together we will:
- ask and tell our name
- ask and tell other's names
- identify the letters in Spanish and their sounds
-spell our names and basic words 
Lesson 3:
Numbers part 1 & Colors
 Together we will:
- review what we have learned in class 1 and 2
- count to 10 and spell correctly the numbers
- ask and give phone numbers
- identify the colors
- communicate if the color is light or dark 
Lesson 4:
Colors part 2 & Numbers part 2
 Together we will:
- count 11-20 and spell them correctly
- identify the colors and use them to answer key questions about what colors we like and don't like as well as what colors we wear and like to paint with 
-build our speaking confidence

Cait is a dedicated educator with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education, specializing in Spanish and English Linguistics & Literature. She’s TESOL, AMET, and EBE certified and has 13 years of teaching experience in the U.S., Spain, Thailand, Guatemala, and Mexico. She also offers beginner Italian and study skills courses for online learners. ✨🌎

With a bachelor’s degree in Biology 🧬 and Spanish, Mary combines her TESOL certification and five years of teaching experience in the U.S., Spain, and Colombia. Her global perspective and passion make her classes engaging and impactful! 💼📚

Ashley holds a bachelor’s in Social Work and Spanish, a master’s in Education specializing in English Language Learners, and an Ed.S. in School Leadership.
