初級鋼琴課 - 第 6 部分

In this 6 week course, students will continue learning to play the piano in a fun and encouraging setting.  We will be using the Alfred Prep Course for the Young Beginner - Level C, and will be playing from the lesson book as well as the solo book.  We will expect to cover about the first half of each book, although pacing of the class may be adjusted as necessary.  Students should have completed the "Beginner Piano Class for Ages 5-8 - Part 5" OR have completed the Alfred Prep Course books A and B or a similar piano method.  If you are unsure of your child's level/readiness for this class, I will be happy to schedule an individual lesson to make an assessment.  

Week One:
We will review C Position, 3/4 time signature, dotted half note, sharp sign, and G Position.

Week Two:
We will learn about accented notes, review the flat sign, and learn about incomplete measures.

Week Three:
We will learn to read in Middle C Position.

Week Four:
We will learn about the fermata and continue learning songs in Middle C Position.

Week Five:
We will learn about eighth notes and continue learning songs in Middle C Position.

Week Six:
We will review eighth notes and continue learning songs in Middle C Position.
