Ready to read? Let's have fun learning phonics! When phonics is taught systematically, as in this class, students gain confidence as their ability to sound out words increases. With an increased knowledge of phonics, students increase the speed of sound to symbol recognition. Then students are able to apply their new skills to read new words which encourages them to experience new vocabulary.
