初級國語：和 Kory 老師一起玩和學

Do you want your little ones to speak more Mandarin or learn a new language?
Learning more than one language can improve memory, boost performance in other academic areas, and enhance multitasking skills!

Group classes offer great benefits for children, allowing them to learn from one another, act as role models, and develop social skills.

Incorporating playdough into class enhances creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory experiences. It helps students focus, promotes social interaction, and supports learning. Playdough is versatile, calming, and boosts confidence, making it a valuable tool for hands-on learning and development.

In this weekly course, students will learn basic vocabulary based on weekly themes. The teacher will guide learners to create themed objects with playdough while practicing phrases and vocabulary. At the end of each class, learners will share their creations and reinforce the vocabulary they’ve learned.

Playdough is required for the class, but learners who prefer to draw instead of using playdough are welcome to do so.

If there are other times you prefer, please message us. 
Students can join starting from any week. 

1 on 1 and sibling classes are also available. 

No prior knowledge of Mandarin is needed. 
Class will be in both English and Mandarin.

TEACHER KORY 👩
ABOUT: 
Teacher Kory is passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. Over the past five years, she has tutored students of various ages, nurturing curiosity and resilience in their learning journeys.

CREDENTIALS: 
⭐ Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication
⭐ 5+ years of teaching experience in both Cantonese and Mandarin

TEACHING STYLE: 
👩‍🏫 She focuses on fostering curiosity through interactive games and storytelling
👩‍🏫 She encourages questions and embraces mistakes as part of learning

FUN FACTS: 
🍣 She loves eating sushi, but can’t eat sashimi
🏸She's left-handed, but plays badminton with her right hand

ENROLLMENT DETAILS: 

When learners can't attend class, there are a few options:
🔔 Most students will keep their subscription and can watch the recording for that week and complete the worksheet when they have time.
🔔 If the teacher offers other sections, you can switch to another section. However, your spot will not be saved in your original section.
🔔 You can pause the class. However, Outschool cannot save your spot. (Outschool charges every Sunday for the coming week's classes.)
