Students will learn how to write in cursive handwriting. I have grouped the letters by their similarities. Students will also learn how to connect the letters to form words. By the end of the course, they should be able to write anything in cursive. I will model how to write each letter/word and students will practice on their own paper. I recommend having plenty of lined paper and a sharp pencil with a good eraser. Students do not need to have any prior experience learning cursive, as I will teach each letter of the alphabet. We won't be going in alphabetical order, but will learn letters that are similar in style (such as U, V, W and Y). As soon as we've covered all the letters in a student's name, I will teach them how to blend the letters together to write their own name.
