課堂經歷

In this ongoing class, beginner gymnasts will improve upon their strength and flexibility, while learning fundamental gymnastics skills in preparation for progression within the sport. 

This class will focus on skills for both the floor exercise, and the balance beam (no equipment required). 

As this is an ongoing class, students are welcome to come and go as they please, as one class does not build upon the next. No previous experience is required. Students will work on building fundamental gymnastics skills, with instruction catered toward each student's abilities at the time. 
Each class will consist of:
-A warm-up and stretch
-A variety of activities, geared towards improving balance and coordination. 
-Basic gymnastics skills for both the floor exercise and balance beam 
	-Rolls (forward, backward, and log rolls)
	-Jumps
	-Handstand progressions *when time allows* (please provide a clear a wall to practice on)
	-Cartwheel progressions *when time allows*
	-Bridges
	-Basic beam skills 
-A cool-down and stretch, and farewells until next week.

*While skills in this class are for beginners, parental guidance is necessary, as any sort of physical activity can be dangerous, and could potentially result in injury.
You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you decide to allow your child to engage in this class, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to your child, and agree to release and discharge the teacher (Madison Suttles) from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of this class.

You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. Students should wear moveable athletic-wear in order to fully engage in each activity. 

They should also have a safe space to practice gymnastics, free of any obstacles, alongside a clear wall nearby for handstand progressions.

A gymnastics mat, yoga mat, rug, or soft surface should be available for performing tumbling skills. 

A water bottle is also advised.
