Let's get your child excited about learning all about the letters of the alphabet by singing and dancing, making silly voices, playing with playdough, and being rewarded with their very own crown at the end of each class. 

This class is all about the letters Ee and Ff. The children will be taught the following.
-To Recognize the letters E and F
-To distinguish between the upper/lower case letters E and F
- The Sound the letters E and F make
- Words That Start With the letters E and F

I will begin class with a funny icebreaker that will not only encourage the kids to laugh and enjoy themselves but also help them to learn how to recognize the letter Ee.

Afterward, I will teach them the differences between the upper case Ee and the lower case Ee by showing the letters side by side. I will have the children practice distinguishing between the two by asking them if I'm holding up an upper case or lower case letter and having them reply in silly ways like with their finger on our nose or like a robot etc.

We will then learn the sound the letter Ee makes and something that starts with the letter Ee by singing a song.

To finish up learning about the letter Ee, I will demonstrate how to write the upper/lower case letter and have the children practice on their own on their crown worksheets (provided in PDF).

Next, we will begin to learn about the upper/lower case letter Ff by showing the letters side by side and having each child form them on playdough mats (provided in PDF).

To learn the sound of the letter Ff and things that start with the letter Ff we will sing another song.

To finish up the class, I will demonstrate how to write the upper/lower case letter Ff and have the kids practice writing the letter on their crown sheets (provided in pdf).

If time permits, we will finish coloring the crown sheets while reviewing what we learned. You will need to help your child put together their crown after class.

-Coloring Supplies (Markers  or crayons)
- The children should practice what they learned in class frequently. I will send you the letters E and F flashcards in PDF form to help them practice. It would help to laminate these cards to allow for repeated practice.
