課堂經歷
Grab your magnifying glass and put on your detective's hat as you join me to learn all about fingerprints! We'll use video clips, slides and discussion to learn about how fingerprints are formed, what makes them so unique and how they are used today. Then, we will use everyday items to print and collect our own fingerprints and investigate what makes each of our prints special. We will talk about fingerprint classification terms like loop, whorl and arch and try to classify our own prints. Finally, we will use our new knowledge to solve the "Mystery of the Missing Museum Artifacts" as we match the fingerprint to the thief to solve the case and return the Queen's Crown Jewels, the US Constitution and the Mona Lisa to the museum. If there is time, we will also learn how you use everyday items to "lift" prints from surfaces.
