LIFE SKILLS FOR SUCCESS In this class students will learn about important Life Skills to be a successful Cosmetologist. Students will gain an understanding, that staying focused in a salon environment will be key to their success. Students will learn that a salon is a social atmosphere. Here are some examples of what students will learn about; Guidelines for Success, Rules for Success, Motivation and Self Management, Goal Setting and Time Management. **Paper and Pencils will be needed for this class. We will have key term vocabulary to write down. We will be writing a mission statement and a few other things as well. *Parents please contact me before class if you have any questions about the material discussed. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. *Students do not require any experience or knowledge in Cosmetology to take this class. This class and all the classes that follow are to help students gain knowledge in the Cosmetology field, and all the specialty fields Cosmetology has to offer.

List the principles that contribute to personal and professional success.
Create a mission statement.
Explain how to set long-term and short-term goals.
Discuss the most effective ways to manage time.

List the characteristics of a healthy, positive attitude.

Managing bridal parties, working bridal shows, runway shows and childrens birthday parties for hair, skin and nails.
I have competed in numerous hair competitions, Including international hair shows in NYC.
I have numerous certificates for different types of training in the Cosmetology field.
I am a Master Colorist and Stylist.
