In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., students ages 13 through 18 will engage in reflective conversation and dialogue around Dr. King's legacy and being the change they wish to see in the world. This class is led by Ms. Racquel, an educator and social activist, who was on the front lines of the Ahmaud Aubrey case. She will share her journey and ways students can work with others to bring about light and change in society through peaceful social activism including community service and...
Ms. Racquel has multiple years of successful hands-on experience in teaching secondary science, math, and GED science. She has had success in management, instruction, and coaching. Ms. Racquel is an exceptional mentor, using my professional and personal experience to help students maximize potential and promote a growth mindset. Ms. Racquel possess' outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate as a collaborating partner, and am experienced in strategic success planning. She is an author, entrepreneur, and public speaker.
