Join us for this interactive Barbie class, Barbie's From the Heart! Bring your favorite Barbie (or two, or three...) and enjoy a story about helping others and being thankful. We will take turns introducing our Barbies to other classmates, discuss what we are each thankful for, read the story Barbie From the Heart, and have fun with a step-by-step tutorial on how to fold origami hearts from our very own Miss Lauren! (Hint: these beautifully folded hearts can be used by students as a delightful way to write & deliver notes!) Looking forward to a totally awesome, fantastic, heart-filled time!

*Favorite Barbie (or two, or three...) *Sheets of 6x6 inch (15x15cm) OR 10x10 inch (25x25cm) ORIGAMI paper. (Can be found at craft stores or on Amazon.com or Walmart.com, among other online sites) *A hard, flat surface for folding paper. (Table top, desk, etc.)

Hello all! Miss Lauren here! I am an early childhood teacher who has taught ten years in the classroom, Pre-Kindergarten thru 3rd grade, and many, many more years supporting various school-type programs in our community. I teach (and live) by the philosophy, "Learn to Play, Play to Learn!" I enjoy enriching story time with song, dance, crafts & activities and enjoy putting magic and joy into each of my lessons!
