課堂經歷

Aloha and Greetings everyone! This class is intended for seven year olds that want to learn a bridge kick over, back walk over, backhand springs and back tucks! We will focusing on these skills and all the progressions that accompany those, in this Gymnastics class.  These skills range from intermediate to advanced. To be in this class, you must be able to hold a bridge with straight arms for 10 seconds. 


Our class schedule looks like this:

0-5 minutes - Welcome and stretching.
6- 20 minutes - Line Drills.  Skill will typically progress in this order: Bridges, Handstands and Handstand Drills to do backwards tumbling.
20-25 minutes - Strengths and Conditioning/Game. We will play a game at the end of class or show everyone our favorite trick. We will also do conditioning to a fun song! 

FEBRUARY 10TH-MARCH 3RD
2/10TH Week 1: We will work on bridge kick overs, walkovers and back handsprings  back tucks,handstand, bridges, cartwheel and round offs.

2/17TH Week 2: We will work on bridge kick overs, walkovers and back handsprings handstand, bridges, back tucks, cartwheel and round offs.


2/24TH Week 3:We will work on bridge kick overs, walkovers and back handsprings handstand, bridges,back tucks, cartwheel and round offs.

3/3RD Week 4: We will work on bridge kick overs, walkovers and back handsprings handstand, bridges, back tucks, cartwheel and round offs.

Please make sure that the athlete has lots of room and either soft mat or carpet. I highly recommend that they have a water bottle ready and parents are more than welcome to watch from the side.
