Students will learn each letter of the alphabet big and small, as well as the sounds they make! Each class students will have fun learning the names of 3 letters, the sounds they make and words that start with the letter. Each class students will interact with 3 letters and 3 awesome animal that start with those letters, to bring the alphabet to life. Each week a class video will be posted on the classroom page for students to watch and interact with. Students will be promoted to make letter sounds, and animal movements and sounds from time to time (If they feel comfortable doing so). They will be having so much fun they won't even realize they are learning! Class videos will be posted on Monday mornings for students to watch. Every week students with the help of their parents should find and take a picture of items they find around the house that start with each of the letters of the week and then upload the photos to the classroom page. Three letters three picture, every week. This will help students think about the letters of word when finding different items. What will students learn each week? Lesson 1: A - alligator, B - bear, C - cow Lesson 2: D - duck, E - elephant, F - fox Lesson 3: G - goose, H - horse, I - iguana Lesson 4: J - jellyfish, K - kangaroo, L - lion Lesson 5: M - monkey, N - narwhal, O - owl Lesson 6: P - panda, Q - quail, R - raccoon Lesson 7: S - squirrel, T - tiger, U - urchin Lesson 8: V - vulture, W - worm, X - x-ray fish Lesson 9: Y - yak, Z - zebra, review all letters and sounds Learning should always be fun, let's monkey around with letters together!
