In this early childhood circle time, we will explore the different ways that numbers can be combined to make a sum of eight. Together, we will practice counting groups of objects and discovering how they combine to sums of eight. This class will include a morning song, question of the day, read aloud that will be tied to our focus skill ("One More Bug" by Martha E. Rustad), a music and movement break, and addition activities. Hi there! I am a licensed early childhood and elementary teacher with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and a Specialist Degree in School Psychology. As a Navy spouse, I have had the opportunity to live in several states and work in several schools as an elementary teacher, preschool teacher, substitute teacher, small group tutor, behavior specialist, inclusion consultant, and school psychologist.
