1st Week: First-person/Third person writing 2nd Week: Creative Writing Techniques 3rd Week: Lyric Writing/Rhyming Schemes 4th Week: Lyric Analysis of Popular Songs 5th Week: Melodic analysis of Popular songs 6th Week: Composing unique melodies 7th Week: Songwriting techniques 8th Week: Writing a fantastic story We will cover topics such as lyric writing, melodies, songwriting, rhyming schemes, creative writing, writing in the first person, and writing in the third person. We will also analyze popular songs and delve into music harmony and chords. Students will be able to write an entire song by the end of this class.
