This self-paced class allows you to learn American Sign Language vocabulary in a fun, loving format. Learn about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends including what makes each friend extra special. Experience ASL through detailed explanations of hand signs and repetition. It is my joy to share ASL as a second language and to help bridge the gap between hearing and Deaf communities. I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class.
