Signing a book is one of the best ways to learn American Sign Language. Explore one of the most beloved books, "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein through ASL. Learn ASL vocabulary as you interpret this story of a boy and a tree. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Experience ASL through detailed explanations of hand signs and repetition. It is my joy to share ASL as a second language and to help bridge the gap between hearing and Deaf communities. Come sign with me!

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class.
