課堂經歷
In this one on one American Sign Language on-going lesson, the student will get a once a week thirty minute private lesson. Each week the learner will have a chance to learn a set of vocabulary and practice until well known and then we will use the rest of the time to practice ASL conversation and getting comfortable using the language with everyday life conversation. The lesson may include quizzes, slideshows, and games to practice the language. Kahoot links may be provided for after class practice. Introduction to deaf culture and history throughout lessons and instruction. Class is flexible depending on the needs and interests of the learner.

On occasion I will provide a link to a quiz on Kahoot! It's completely optional if your student would like to practice and further quiz themselves on things learned in class. It is both a website and an app., either will work to try the quiz. It is an after class activity. No account is needed to access the quiz.

Hello my name is Tanesha Poly. I am a homeschooling mom of five. I love learning and researching different curriculum and activities to keep my kids learning and engaged. Before I became a mom I worked as an educational interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing. I worked with children of all ages teaching, aiding, and interpreting for them. I have an associates of arts degree and a certificate in American Sign Language. My kids have enjoyed taking classes on Outschool and I hope to provide the same type of fun enjoyable classes for others! I love cooking, baking, organizing, and taking pictures of my kids!評論
