課堂經歷
In this beginner ASL class, students will learn the alphabet, basic greetings, everyday vocabulary, and fingerspelling, while exploring key aspects of Deaf culture. Each session includes interactive demonstrations, practice activities, and discussions to build confidence and real-life signing skills. My teaching style is supportive and engaging, using visual aids, games, and personalized feedback to adapt to each learner’s needs. Students will interact with me throughout class through guided signing, real-time feedback, and Q&A sessions, ensuring a fun and collaborative learning experience.

I hold a minor in American Sign Language (ASL) from Flagler College, where I focused on mastering the language and studying Deaf culture. As a Deaf individual, I bring a lived, authentic perspective to the subject, helping students connect not only with the language but also with the community it represents. I have experience teaching ASL informally to children and teens, tailoring my approach to meet their unique learning styles and needs.
