ASL Animal Signs: Learn at Your Own Pace Explore the world of animals while learning American Sign Language (ASL) in this engaging self-paced course! Each week, students will discover new animal signs, practice forming sentences, and engage in fun, interactive activities. Lessons are released weekly and cover: This course features games, videos, and resources for continued practice. Parents may assist younger children with activities, and using a tablet or computer is recommended for the best experience. Join us to build your ASL skills while exploring the animal kingdom!

Lessons will be interactive and I will share link to Nearpod for lessons you will not need an account. Students will be able to participate in our interactive lessons and have access to as flashcards, games, and presentation.

Students will need to be on computers such as desktops laptops or iPads. (Smartphones are not recommended.) We will be using Nearpod to access lessons. Students will not need an account because the teacher has set up an account for each student. Some lessons will also be conducted with Google. If the student is very young the parent may want to set with them or set them up at the start of each lesson.

- One teacher has spent over two decades as an Educational Interpreter and Tutor, working closely with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Their passion for sign language is driven by personal experiences with Deaf family members.
- Another teacher is proficient in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Nicaraguan Sign Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, they have served in various roles such as teaching, assisting, and mentoring students and interpreters.
- We also have a Deaf educator with expertise in speech, lipreading, and sign language. Their patience and kindness have positively impacted many students through their work as a tutor and assistant teacher at the School for the Deaf.
Together, our team is committed to providing an enriching ASL learning experience that accommodates diverse backgrounds and fosters growth.
