Students will learn through signing their ABCs with the webcam and receive feedback on their signing quality for letters. This is strictly finger spelling, not ASL grammar or usage technique. We can also discuss how the deaf community develops name signs rather than finger spelling names. My first school was a school for the deaf, where my mother was a teacher. ASL was my first language, although I haven't spoken it fluently since I was young.
