In this course students will understand how to communicate in American Sign Language at a basic level. This will include learning how to create sentences, word order in American Sign Language, understand basic linguistic features/structure and have knowledge on American Sign Language culture. American Sign Language is a complex but beautiful language. There is no one way to start, but learning the basics will help you build the skills you are seeking.
