1 brown paper lunch sack (aka bag)

5 different colors of construction paper (orange, red, yellow, green or blue, brown) for feathers, waddle, beak, and legs

2 small pieces (about a 2-inch square) of white and black construction paper; or 2 large googly eyes if you have those available

glue (a glue stick is less messy)

scissors (blunt-tip scissors are recommended for safety)

a black or blue marker or crayon

3 or 4 notebook-paper-sized pieces of paper to wad up into balls (Used pieces of paper or papers you were going to throw away will work. They don't have to be perfect pieces of paper.)

a pencil

a ruler

Students will be using scissors and glue.  Parents, please make sure your child is comfortable with both of these tools before class begins.
