- This class combines show and tell with sketching. - Drawing styles and scavenger hunt lists will change weekly. - Students can join any time. This class is made to offer drawing practice for any skill level. - Drawing methods might include: stippling, crosshatching, blind contour drawing, continuous line drawing, patterns, squiggles and more. - Classes will include breathing breaks and movement breaks. My teaching style focuses on high interaction with students. Students will share their items, their drawings, and their favorite drawing styles and techniques. I welcome children to come with their own favorite drawing style and use it as they like and not to be afraid to try something completely different.

My degree is in Art with an Art History minor. I have taught art classes of different types in small group settings in classrooms. Over the years I have seen that students often feel energized and focused by incorporating fast, fun activities and body/brain breaks. I have worked with children in a school setting for over 15 years and I enjoy hearing their thoughts and seeing their creativity.評論
