Do you hate drawing hands? Need help creating more texture with paint? Art Jam tutoring sessions designed for advanced and self-motivated budding artists. This is a perfect opportunity for a young person who is applying for art school or interested in entering a creative field. We’ll work on both technical skills and conceptual ideas. Let’s concur the hard things! Bring your own artwork or start a new piece and we can work together. Discussion may include line quality, composition, color theory, painting techniques, anatomy, artistic concepts, etc. All 2D and 3D art mediums are welcome.

Hi! I'm Alexis. I love making art. I love teaching art. I started teaching kids ceramics when I was in my teens and have since taught drawing, painting, English as a Foreign Language (EFL), and reading skills. My art classes are a great vehicle for building confidence, teaching history, and learning about zoology and botany. I care a great deal about the environment and have worked in wildlife rehabilitation and served as an educational docent in a sloth sanctuary. I have many pets including my cat, chickens, axolotls, a box turtle, and a crested gecko and even keep a variety of carnivorous plants. I'm always happy to bring one of my animals to class when we have time.評論
