Fact or Opinion. Bats are scary? We will discover that the people of Austin, TX were scared of bats until they leaned the truth about them. To learn these truths we'll look at how bats live, the anatomy of a bat and learn about echolocation. Did you know that bats have five fingers and arms and legs like us? What kind of bats live around you? Learning the differences between mega-bats and micro-bats will give you some clues about what bats may be living around you. Some of the vocabulary...
Listening and writing skills will be practiced as students learn interesting facts about bats and how to draw a bat.
Students will need to bring: - a sketchbook/ notebook/ scientific journal or loose paper - a pencil and an eraser - coloured pencils Join me for another one of my classes and add to your sketchbook or scientific journal!
