動畫夢想果醬！

This is a class for children who have a serious interest in animation. 

This is an ongoing animation workshop for children who want to learn more about animation and have a desire to improve their animation skills. It's highly recommended that your child have experience making their own animations or take own of my more introductory animation classes.

In this class children will have the opportunity to work on whatever animation projects they wish and be able to work in the method of their choosing. Children are highly encouraged to share their work often and get feedback to improve their work.

The class is highly self-directed and the topics covered are determined by the needs and interests of the students.

All animation techniques are welcome and children are allowed to work on paper, digitally, or in clay or stop motion if they desire. There are a number of digital animation apps available and feel free to reach out if you need help selecting one.

Each class children are given the time and space to work on their own projects. Children are encouraged to share any work they've done during the week at the beginning of every class. 

In addition to giving children the opportunity to work on their own projects during class we will also be watching animation clips and discussing what is going on in them. As well as discussing different aspects of animation, various challenges, and how to solve them.

Children are allowed to start and stop projects as they see fit. As well as work of larger projects week to week.

Keyframe animation
Character acting
Posing and gestures
Timing and sequencing
and more

Children are always encouraged to ask about topics they are interested in and subsequent classes may follow these requests. Learners who are new to the class will quickly be brought up to speed and more advanced learners may have the opportunity to share and demonstrate what they've learned with their new classmates.

Animation is one of the most rewarding art forms there is. It allows your children to literally bring their drawings to life. I can't wait to see what your learner creates!
