Welcome to a history class all about animals! If you love animals and want to learn amazing stories about how animals influenced history, this class is for you! Each class will include storytelling, pictures, slides, activities, lots of discussion, games, and of course, animal overload! Course Outline: Monday - Man's Best Friend -Learn all about famous dogs that helped change human history like Laika, a space pioneer, and Balto, a dog that saved a town from disease! Tuesday - Meow...
I have over twenty years of experience working with and teaching students. I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics. My master's degree is in Higher Education. I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law. Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!

This class will utilize Nearpod, Kahoot!, and Gimkit. Links will be provided during class and there is no need to log into these resources. This class will touch upon the subject of war as we learn about famous animals.
