Some people may think that some animals are unimportant. Why do we need mosquitos? What's the point of spiders? Why should we care about worms? Well, EVERY animal is important because EVERY animal has a job that keeps their ecosystem balanced! In this one-time science class, we will meet a live animal (that has a very important job) and learn about dozens of species with incredible roles in their ecosystem. We will discuss topics such as pollination, decomposers, seed dispersal, aeration,...
Learners will understand that each animal has important jobs in its environment. Learners will be familiar with important science topics such as pollination, decomposers, and seed dispersal. Learners will be able to identify jobs of various animal species.
