Get the popcorn popping! Students will be allowed to bring their favorite popcorn flavor to class and munch along as we read non-fiction passages about different animal species. This class will focus on students learning to comprehend factual information in a fun environment. Students will read a portion of the passage and when the teacher yells out popcorn another student will be picked to continue reading. Each student will be given an opportunity to read out loud.
After the...- Hopefully, students will become one step closer to achieving the ultimate goal of learning to comprehend what they read.
