In this one time class, students will learn several types of habitats that animals live in around the world. We will discuss what factors make a good habitat such as shelter, water, and food. We will then use supplies and a toy animal that students bring to create an habitat. Students will use the information learned during class to make sure that their habitat has everything an animal would need to survive. This class will be hands on, educational, as well as allow students to be creative!...
Small box Plastic or stuffed toy animal Various additional supplies such as paper, scissors, glue, pom poms, Popsicle sticks, rocks, pine cones, leaves, cotton balls, etc.
Scissor and glue may be used in this class.
