課堂經歷
Class will begin by introducing ourselves (and the animal friend we chose to bring to class!) and getting our muscles warmed up. We will talk about fun things each week such as where animals live, what they eat, their body parts, and how they move! I will then guide your little through the warm-up and stretching. Safety first! Next, I will model and perform a variety of exercises for both our upper and lower body. Many exercises will be disguised an animal movements. We will even use our stuffed animal friends to help us with the exercises! The exercises and workouts will be fresh and fun each class! All exercises can be modified to ensure your little is feeling successful and strong! Finally, class will finish with a cool down stretch and conversation. Learners will have the opportunity to help me count out our exercise repetitions and socialize during the workout session! You can expect your child to receive lots of encouragement and praise throughout our workout. All of our teachers have a coaching style that centers around giving each child a lot of individual attention. They will leave feeling excited about fitness, and with a new workout routine they can practice at home!

My goal for your little is to encourage a love for physical exercise and health by pouring my own love and passion into them! I seek to do this by providing an engaging and upbeat workout that your child will look forward to every week!
Ongoing group classes are great practice for developing social skills and building friendships with familiar faces.
Improvement in the areas of strength, balance, and agility.
They will also be working towards achieving the daily physical activity recommendations of both the CDC and American Heart Association. According to the CDC, it is recommended that children and adolescents ages (6-17 years) should do 60 minutes or more of moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity each day, including daily aerobic – and activities that strengthen bones (like running or jumping) – 3 days each week, and that build muscles (like climbing or doing push-ups) – 3 days each week."
According to the American Heart Association:
Active kids are more likely to have:
-a healthy weight
-stronger, healthier bones and muscles
-better heart and brain health
-improved brain function, including memory, attention and problem-solving
-better school attendance and academic performance, especially in math, reading and writing
-lower long-term risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and some kinds of cancer
-less stress and fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression
-less inappropriate and distracting classroom behavior
-improved mental health and psychological well-being, including confidence and self-esteem

Parental guidance is suggested just to make sure your child is staying hydrated and resting when needed. But don't worry! We will take plenty of group water and breathing breaks!
