Do you want your learner to have a hands-on experience that will help them learn and remember the systems of the human body? Learners will complete printable, interactive pages to help gain a better understanding of human body systems. Pages will involve coloring, cutting, and gluing. These pages will be added to learner notebooks. Whether studying animals or humans, having a strong understanding of body systems will enhance your learner's understanding of anatomy both purely for fueling...
I have more than 20 years of experience teaching and creating with children in various settings including leading camps, afterschool programs, and other children's programs. Over the last six years, I have taught young learners online and homeschooled my own children. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and I am passionate about utilizing my knowledge and research skills to educate children about the fascinating world of animals. I have provided private conversational English and science tutoring on Outschool for a few years using a program named Favorite Things. Additionally, I offer anatomy lessons as an alternative to dissection and classes that involve compound microscopes.
Great for visual and kinesthetic learners who love coloring, gluing and drawing.
*This class goes nicely with Animal Anatomy & Drawing Clubs, either before or after human body systems.
Weekly PDF files need to be printed prior to each class.
Supplies for drawing and coloring.
Notebook (spiral or composition).
Optional but encouraged: Digital Camera/ magnifier app or compound microscope
Slides of different body systemsStudents will need to use scissors and glue stick or tape.
