In this class we will be learning about Greek mythology and ancient Greek and Roman art through interactive choose-your-own-adventure stories! 

Together, we will find out what happens when the mighty god Zeus and the Titan ruler Cronus battle to reign over the world. We will follow the story of the Greek hero Perseus, pretend we are the Odysseus, and battle the deadly monster, Medusa, who has snakes for hair and a gaze that could turn us to stone! Along the way, we will encounter many adventures, magical nymphs, monsters, and dangerous creatures.  As a team, we will work together to make choices that will guide us through the twists and turns of the stories. 

As we explore these mythical worlds, we will also have the opportunity to learn about ancient Greek and Roman art and sculpture that depict scenes and images from these iconic stories. We will learn about the artists, the art collectors, examine the intricate details of these works of art and discuss how they help us understand and appreciate the stories of Greek mythology.
