Each week I will introduce a new grammar topic or rule. I will engage the students with a read aloud, informational video, or visual representation. Students will then practice the rule with an activity. Since we meet once a week the student will have the opportunity to finish the activity and/or engage in another practice activity after class. Maria Ramirez is a Massachusetts licensed Elementary Teacher who has been teaching children for over a decade in public, private and charter schools including after school and summer programs. The majority of her teaching has taken place in first and second grade classrooms. She guides children's natural curiosities to explore, investigate, create, problem solve, collaborate, and take risks in a safe and encouraging environment.
