Students will be taught by a certified American Sign Language teacher, as well as, national certified teacher for Deaf children and is fluent in ASL. Students will learn the benefits of signing, basic tips for fingerspelling, the alphabet, numbers 1 - 10, spelling names, and fingerspelling practice. I am offering this class to assist hearing students to begin learning the basics in American Sign Language 1. Not only will this bridge the gap between Deaf people and hearing people but it is also proven to increase IQ, as well as, many other benefits which we will go over. I have extensive experience in teaching American Sign Language as a world language for all age ranges.
Handouts will be provided by the teacher. Students will be a given a google forms from time to time and work on Canvas.
