From the Sahara Desert, to the Jungle, to the Island of Madagascar, Africa is home to some of the most unique animals in the world!  Some are deadly and some are simply adorable!  

Many species in Africa are "endemic," which means that you can't find them in the wild anywhere else in the entire world!

From venomous creepy crawlie to dangerous predators and vulnerable prey, we will learn all about the animals of Africa.  We will delve into each animal's lifestyle, the adaptations that allow them to thrive in an often challenging landscape, reproduction, predators, and the impact that human activity holds for each animal on a day-to-day basis.  Conservation will be key to saving many of these species from extinction.
