Bring your notebook and favorite markers, crayons or pencils and come explore 2 letters each week. In this class, learners will review identifying the upper and lower case version of each letter. While we work, we practice sound matching, reviewing words that start with the letters. We will practice writing each letter, add doodles and learners can label their drawings as well while we work. Here's a look at our routine: 1. Welcome, Alphabet Song (a fun version each meeting) 2. Show & Tell- Bring something that starts with one of the letters of the day. 3. Write and Doodle Time- Bring blank paper or a notebook and your favorite markers, pens, pencils or crayons. 4. Share & Goodbyes. I use a second camera to model letter/ word writing and doodle making so that learners can see up close, making it easy to follow along. Everyone is encouraged to use their imaginations and create their doodles how ever they like. We will rotate through all 26 letters of the alphabet in 13 weeks. We start over after we go through the alphabet, so join anytime and stay as long as you like! Our upcoming letter schedule: Week of- Dec. 2: Aa, Bb Dec. 9: Cc, Dd Dec. 16: Ee, Ff Weeks of Dec. 23- January 5: Holiday Break, no classes Jan. 6: Gg, Hh Jan. 13: Ii, Jj Jan. 20: Kk, Ll Jan. 27: Mm, Nn Feb. 3: Oo, Pp Feb. 10: Qq, Rr Feb. 17: Ss, Tt Feb. 24: Uu, Vv March 3: Ww, Xx March 10: Yy, Zz * Alphabet Starts Over March 17: Aa, Bb March 24: Cc, Dd

Parents may quietly assist their child off camera.
Learners may keep their microphones on if they are in a quiet setting. If there is background noise, conversations or computer interference (like echoes), I will mute as needed. Learners can un-mute when called on to share, and may need a parent to assist with turning microphone back on.

1. Please bring blank paper and your favorite markers, colored pencils or pens. Another option is to bring a notebook and you will have the opportunity to add to your collection each week! 2. Bring a show and tell item that starts with one or both of the letters of the day.

I am so excited for the opportunity to bring creative, energetic and meaningful lessons to the learners on Outschool. I am a certified school teacher, and I have classroom experience in both public and private schools. Currently, I work exclusively teaching online while homeschooling my own children. As a homeschooling family, we love to spend time together traveling when possible, and enjoying the great outdoors at our country home with our animals.
The classes I offer are full of fun activities that engage the students while they are learning. I love teaching with a theme that captivates the interests of learners. All of the classes that I offer are designed for learners in the 3-7 years old age range. My specialties include circle time, playdough playtime, alphabet mini classes and beginning level language arts.
It is my goal to give every student time to shine in all of my classes. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the lesson.
