In this one-time class, you will begin to learn what verbs are, how they change depending on whether we are writing in the past or present tense, and how using them correctly makes our writing fabulous! Verbs are the parts of a sentence that make all the action happen! Without them, we wouldn't know what anybody was doing! We use them when we talk, when we listen to people talking, and we see them all the time when we read books and stories. Without verbs, our sentences wouldn't make any sense at all!
