In this one-time class, you will begin to learn what verbs are, how they change depending on whether we are writing in the past or present tense, and how using them correctly makes our writing fabulous! Verbs are the parts of a sentence that make all the action happen! Without them, we wouldn't know what anybody was doing! We use them when we talk, when we listen to people talking, and we see them all the time when we read books and stories. Without verbs, our sentences wouldn't make any...
Students will learn how to identify verbs, how to use them, and how to change them appropriately depending on whether they are writing in the past or present tense.
I have taught English for many years and am passionate that children should have a good understanding of how to construct a sentence.
