During this course, we will cover snake diet, habitat, and adaptations. The purpose of this class is to discuss how amazing snakes are since snakes are often underappreciated. There will be room for snake-related questions and discussions all throughout the class in addition to video clips and a short presentation surrounding snakes of all kinds, including examples of live snakes I have worked with in my career. Learners are not required to have knowledge or experience surrounding this topic before class.
學習目標
Students will learn about the diet, anatomy, habitat, and adaptations of many snake species. We will be focusing specifically on tropical, desert-dwelling, and large snake species. Students are expected to leave the class with a newfound appreciation and love for our reptiles friends!

Hi everyone,
My name is Madi and I am an animal educator, zookeeper and conservationist. I have worked with all kinds of animals and aim to educate you on how to care for them. I have been certified by National Geographic as an educator, and have been working with all sorts of exotic animals for over 7 years. Additionally, I have traveled multiple times to the wilderness of Nepal and Central America for conservation work. I hope to inspire children to care for the natural world and the animals that live within it! My favorite animal is an Okapi, which looks like a zebra but is actually related to the giraffe!評論
