During this course, we will cover snake diet, habitat, and adaptations. The purpose of this class is to discuss how amazing snakes are since snakes are often underappreciated. There will be room for snake-related questions and discussions all throughout the class in addition to video clips and a short presentation surrounding snakes of all kinds, including examples of live snakes I have worked with in my career. Students will learn about the diet, anatomy, habitat, and adaptations of many snake species. We will be focusing specifically on tropical, desert-dwelling, and large snake species. Students are expected to leave the class with a newfound appreciation and love for our reptiles friends!
