The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about the technical specifications of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in week one, the specifications of the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter in week two, and about the CH-47 Chinook helicopter in week three. There will be facts about the different variants, armament and other pertinent technical aspects of the aircraft. Furthermore, historic combat experience where these aircraft were used in different combat situations around the world. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There are also short videos about the different helicopters to help the student better understand the craft in action. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
