Does your learner love elephants?  Does your learner love drawing or want to learn how to draw? Does your learner want an interactive and engaging learning experience?

In this class we will do all of that and more!

1.  Through classroom discussion, videos, and slideshows, animal life science concepts will be covered including the classification of  animals, their habitats, behaviors and characteristics, in this case with a focus on the elephant.  

2.  Fine art instruction will follow the science lesson, with a teacher-directed art lesson on how to draw the elephant, complete with helpful art tips.  Creativity will always be encouraged!

3.  Students will be invited, but never forced, to engage in class discussion, as well as participate in games during class time, for a fun interactive time with their peers and to reinforce what they are learning. Class size is capped to encourage more social interaction.
