As teens and young adults are getting ready to go into the big world, and become self-sufficient, it is important to learn to cook one of the most cost-efficient and nutritionally dense ingredients available- The Egg! In this class you will learn about the benefits of eggs, a little bit about where they come from and their production and learn a variety of ways to prepare eggs for different needs and culinary delights! Students are able to watch and learn OR cook along with Ms. Jaime. ...
Students will have a better understanding of egg production, proper health and safety of egg handling/storage. Students will learn and practice cooking eggs in a variety of methods. Come to class hungry!
1 dozen eggs Salt and Pepper (or favorite seasonings) Non-stick sauté pan Skillet with lid Small mixing bowl Utility knife Small Whisk Spatulas Butter (or oil) Optional ingredients- onion, bell peppers, zucchini, cheese
