This class will focus on one of the foundation skills used in Algebra. The agenda for my class will be as followed: -Review of operations and the various forms they will be seen in mathematical expressions. -Introduce "GEMDAS" (Grouping Symbols, Exponents & Radicals, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction) -Simplify expressions by applying the order of operations. Solving the expressions will be done by the method of "I Do", "We Do", "You Do". What this means is the teacher will work...
- Learner will learn how to simplify mathematical expressions by applying the order of operations.
I was a Special Education teacher for 9 years. During my time as a Special Education teacher, I supported students in 6th-12th grade math. Additionally, I taught Algebra I for 3 years.
Assessment
頻率: 可根據要求提供細節: The learner will complete an "Exit Ticket" to assess mastery level of applying the order of operations.
