Bring the flavors of Africa into your kitchen with this three-day course, filled with African goodness! In this course, students will learn how to prepare three popular street foods from Nigeria, Tanzania, and Cabo Verde. At the beginning of each class, we will do a quick review of the required equipment and ingredients for the class. Students will be able to prepare three African-inspired dishes to enjoy with family and friends.
I love to cook and experiment with different flavors from around the world. I enjoy preparing authentic African dishes for my family and friends to enjoy.
A tool and ingredient list will be provided in the classroom in advance before the class. These are easy-to-come-by ingredients that can be purchased from local grocery stores.
This class is hands-on. We will be using the oven and sharp utensils. For students who may need assistance at any point, parental supervision is advised. Adults must however remain off camera for the safety of all learners.
