Advanced Voice Over is a Private class to further develop your learners skill as a Voice Over actor. we will focus on the skills that need extra work and those that have been known to be more difficult. Each week will be built on the previous one. This class is perfect for any level of skill. We will be doing a variety of characters with the focus on the nine elements of voice. This course will also cover recording a professional demo reel. I use a evaluation technique developed to increase confidence while knowing how to listen to areas that need attention. This is a safe class were criticism is never used. November 21: Nine Elements of the voice and how to access their power. Dec 5th: Character voices and how they tell a dynamic story. Dec. 19th: Emotions and finding the voice to express them. Jan. 2: Perfect thing to put on your demo reel. Review. Script reading

My name is Michael Schmitt and I have been performing and teaching improv for over 20 years. I am an Voice Over Actor and love unique and engaging creating characters, plots, locations and script in multiple genres. My classes focus on communication, confidence, team building, character development and most important the benefits of effective communication skills. Each class is highly interactive and engaging. I have given hundreds of presentations and evaluations as a member of Toastmaster International. I also competed in the World Championships of Public Speaking. I learned a great deal on delivering a professional performance and also how to watch and give constructive direction to others. I embrace an enthusiastic approach to learning and enjoy teaching the self discovery of your imagination. I am a amateur magician and have been performing slight of hand for my entire life.
