This class will is for math lovers, gifted and advanced students who have completed elementary school level mathematics. It will prepare the student for Algebra 1. The Art of Problem Solving text books focus on learning the material by solving challenging problems. Each class we will work through problems together. Students will be encouraged to participate. I have a masters degree in Biomedical Engineering and experience teaching math at the community college level. I was a member of the Mu Alpha Theta math team as a child and have been a math lover all my life.
